Privacy Policy
1. What data we process
This site processes the following personal data:
- Contact form — your full name, email address, and the content of your message, which you provide voluntarily.
- User account and licenses — the details you enter when registering (full name, email, address, phone contact), and the license details: the MAC address and name of your device and the issued license code, plus when your device last verified the license and how many times it has.
- Reviews — if you write a review as a signed-in customer, we store the name or nickname you enter, the rating, the text and the link to your account. Once an administrator approves it, the name and text are shown publicly on the Reviews page; your e-mail is never published.
- Online view of device data — only if you switch it on yourself, see section 5.
2. Purpose and legal basis
We process contact-form data based on our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or based on pre-contractual negotiations if you request collaboration (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We process account and license data to provide you with the account features — license management and firmware downloads (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). The online view of device data is based on your consent, given by switching on the relevant option on the device (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
3. Retention period
Contact-form messages are kept for at most 1 year from submission, unless ongoing correspondence requires longer retention. Account and license data are kept for as long as your account exists; we delete them on request.
4. Who we share data with
Your message is delivered by email via Gmail (Google LLC) as our email provider. The site is hosted by a third-party hosting provider. This server does not relay spot electricity prices. If you switch them on in your gateway (JK BMS or DEYE) or in the Home Assistant integration (off by default, only with your own data usage agreement with OKTE, a.s. or OTE, a.s.), your device downloads them straight from the market operator; only the date and the application name are sent, and we receive no data about it (see the guide Electricity prices (OKTE / OTE)). We do not otherwise share your data with any third party or for marketing purposes.
5. Online view of device data (optional)
If you yourself switch on "Enable online sending" on your gateway (Web server settings; off by default), the device sends the current battery state (e.g. state of charge, voltage, current, temperatures and individual cell voltages) to this server every 15 seconds, together with the device's MAC address, so that you can view it after logging in on the "Live data" page.
We currently do not collect any data from devices — this is only an online view. The received state is not stored anywhere: it is not written to the database or to logs, it is held only in the server's memory, and it is discarded after at most 10 minutes without a new transmission (or when the server restarts). We do not build a history, profile or statistics from it and do not pass it on to anyone. Only the owner of that device's license can view it, after logging in.
You can switch sending off at any time by unticking the option on the device.

7. Your rights
Regarding the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:
- access your personal data,
- correct inaccurate or outdated data,
- erase your data ("right to be forgotten"),
- restrict processing,
- object to processing,
- lodge a complaint with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection.
You can exercise your rights by writing to the contact email above. You can also delete your account with all its data (licenses, reviews) yourself on the My profile page.
8. Data security
The site is served exclusively over a secure HTTPS connection. We take reasonable measures to protect the data we receive against misuse, loss, or unauthorized access.
